2010 3rd & 4th Quarter Actual Tax Bills -

The 2010 Actual Real Estate and Personal Property tax bills will be in the mail on December 31, 2009. The bills are based on the new rates below. The 2010 3rd quarter bill is due on 2-1-10 and the 4th quarter bill is due on 5-3-10.

TOWN RATE: 7.54

WATER DISTRICT RATE FOR BUZZARDS BAY: 0.72
WATER DISTRICT RATE FOR NORTH SAGAMORE: 0.72

About the Town Collector

The Town Collector is responsible for many fiscal activities in the Town. Some include: collection of real estate and motor vehicle taxes and landfill money; sending out bills 30/60 days; balancing the accounts each month; sending out demands and warrants; handling municipal lien certificates concerning back taxes; and public interaction concerning questions. Ms. Burgess’ office works with all the offices of the Town.
