Chairman Mealy called the meeting to order at 6:53 P.M.

The Town Administrator distributed an updated Sources and Uses document along with an adjusted budget for the Electrical Inspector’s wage.  He also distributed a proposed new motion for Article 3 (budget article) for the Annual Town Meeting.

The TA explained that the reduction of the budget to bring the Inspectors position back to a ½ time position had not been so depicted in the most recent budget draft but it had been reduced in the payroll portion of the towns accounting for FY09.  The materials presented to the Selectmen mitigated that by reducing the salary of the Inspector’s position accordingly.  Additionally, the amount of free cash needed to supplement the School Department for the Loss of the PL 874 funding had been reduced by a corresponding amount.

Mr. Sloniecki made a motion to waive the reading of the motion for passage of the adoption of a new article three budget.  The motion was seconded by Mrs Conron and agreed to unanimously by the Board.

Mrs Conron made a motion to adopt the new motion regarding article three of the Annual town Meeting as presented by the Town Administrator.  The motion was seconded by Ms. Zuern and unanimously agreed to by the Board.

A motion to recess the Selectmen’s meeting until the conclusion of tonight’s town meeting session was made by Mr. Sloniecki and seconded by Ms. Zuern.  The motion carried unanimously.

A motion to adjourn the Selectmen’s meeting was made by Ms Zuern and Seconded by Mrs. Conron at 10:28 P.M. The Board unanimously agreed to the motion.

Meeting Adjourned at 10:28 P.M.

Respectfully submitted,

Thomas M. Guerino

Town Administrator
