Sharps Disposal (household syringes and lancets)

Bourne Fire / Rescue & Emergency Services' Headquarters Station, which is located at 130 Main Street in Buzzards Bay, is a designated sharps disposal site for Barnstable County.  Residents can bring in full sharps box containers and receive new containers at no charge, courtesy of the Barnstable County Cooperative Extension.  Only sharps in approved sharps containers are accepted.  If you have any questions regarding this program, please contact Bourne Fire / Rescue & Emergency Services or the County’s Cooperative Extension at (508) 375-6690.
