TOWN OF BOURNE SWIM LESSON INFORMATION

Swim Lessons will be conducted from July 7^th through August 15^th. Schedule

Lessons will be held at Sagamore, Queen Sewell Pond, Gray Gables, Monument Beach, and Pocasset (Hen’s Cove). Classes will be conducted following American Red Cross guidelines.

Registration will be held on June 30^th from 4:00-6:00 at the Community Building.

The fee will remain $35.00

Guard Start will meet Monday through Thursday at Monument Beach from 3:00 – 4:00. This course will focus on conditioning and introduce basic rescue skills.

Prerequisite: 11 years or older and completed skills for level 6 of the American Red Cross program.

Registration will be held on June 30^th from 4:00-6:00 at the Community Building.

The fee will remain $35.00

Lifeguard Training class will be held on July 11, 12, 13, 19, and 20 at Monument Beach and the Bourne Public Library.

Prerequisite: 15 years or older with good swimming skills and endurance. (The first session will include a skills and endurance assessment)

Registration will be on June 30^th at the Community Building from 4:00-6:00 or by mail (Judy Cox, 24 Perry Ave. Buzzards Bay, MA 02532).

The fee will remain $200.00.
