B-HOPP has been created to assist eligible households with technical assistance, mortgages programs and grants to purchase homes and condominiums that are for sale and scattered through out the town of Bourne.
The list of approved properties is now being developed. The Partnership will hold a lottery to establish the order in which “ready to buy” households will be assisted during the 2 year program term.
Income eligibility: Maximum gross income by household size is as
follows:
One Person - $41,450; Two Person - $47,350; Three Person -
$53,300; Four Person - $59,200; Five Person - $63,950; Six
person - $68,650.
Must not have owned a home as a principal residence for a period of 3 years. Exceptions include: displaced homeowners; those whose home was not affixed to a permanent foundation; those that owned properties not in compliances with building codes and the cost of bringing into compliance would be greater than cost of construction of a permanent structure; age- qualified household i.e. at least one member over 55 and is selling a home to purchase an approved unit.

Completed Applications will be accepted and logged in only at the Town of Bourne Planning Department, Bourne Town Hall, 24 Perry Ave. Bourne, and, at the Bourne Housing Authority, 871 Shore Rd. Pocasset MA.
