Sheds under 75SF

• Needs to meet street side property line setbacks.
• No permit fee required.
• Completed shed registration form found online https://bournema.viewpointcloud.com/ follow links for e-permitting.
• 1 copy of a site/plot plan, showing size & location of all buildings with setbacks and location of proposed shed clearly marked uploaded to the e-permit.
• All work to be done in accordance with MA State Building Code 780 CMR

Sheds under 200SF

• No permit fee required.
• Needs to meet side, rear and street side property line setbacks.
• Completed shed registration form found online https://bournema.viewpointcloud.com/ follow links for e-permitting.
• 1 copy of a site/plot plan, showing size & location of all buildings with setbacks and location of proposed shed clearly marked uploaded to the e-permit.
• All work to be done in accordance with MA State Building Code 780 CMR

Sheds over 200SF

• Permit fee of $60.00
• Sheds to meet side, rear, and street side property line setbacks.
• Completed Building Express Permit form found online https://bournema.viewpointcloud.com/ follow links for e-permitting.
• 1 copy of a site/plot plan, showing size & location of all buildings with setbacks and location of proposed shed clearly marked.
• All work to be done in accordance with MA State Building Code 780 CMR

 Setback Information:

• Use chart below to determine your individual setbacks based on what zone your property is located in.
• Use zoning map found on Town of Bourne Website https://www.townofbourne.com/engineering
• Setbacks for septic systems are for a slab foundation 10ft from SAS or tank.
