Public Hearing on the Needs of Older Adults

As the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for our region, Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands receives Title III B and D Community Federal Grants. This money is awarded to other community and municipal organizations working in partnership with us to address particular challenges facing us as we age. These partners provide many services which reach out to all people in the community aged sixty and older.

To help plan for the distribution of federal Older Americans Act funds for the Federal Fiscal Year 2024 the AAA Advisory Council will hold a Public Hearing on Public Hearing on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. online via Zoom. The purpose of this hearing is to review our Needs Assessment and receive public comment on the needs of older adults and their caregivers in Barnstable County.

For the zoom meeting link, please contact Sarah Franey, Director of Community Services, at 1-800-244-4630 x227 or sarah.franey@escci.org. Written testimony may be mailed to Sarah Franey at Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands, Inc., 68 Route 134, South Dennis, MA 02660.
