Hours: Daily 11am-4pm and 5:30pm-7:30pm *hours subject to change
Buzzards Bay Play Space
For the benefit and enjoyment of all participants, please comply with the following rules and regulations. The following activities and items are not permitted in the play space:
- Running, rough play, or profanity
- Inflatable pool toys, athletic and or recreational equipment
- Glass containers
- Animals except service animals
- Changing diapers
- Radios and other acoustical devices
- Skateboards, skates, scooters, rollerblades, bicycles, and similar recreation equipment
- Alcohol, smoking, including e-cigarettes/vape and tobacco products
Children must remain in visual contact of supervising parent/guardian
Please be considerate to others
Organized group outings are not permitted
In the event of threatening or inclement weather vacate the play area
In order to keep our guest safe the play area may close due to unforeseen circumstances such as maintenance and/or operational needs
Please place trash and recycling in the proper receptacles
The Town of Bourne reserves the right to remove participants for violating any of the above rules or engaging in illegal, destructive, or inappropriate behavior.
Playground Rules:
In addition to the general play rules, please observe the following when using playground equipment:
- Children must remain in visual contact of supervising parent/guardian
- Use equipment as intended
- Stay off play equipment when wet
- Closed toe shoes required
- Observe age requirements for all play equipment
Splash Pad Rules:
In addition to the general play space rules, the following activities and items are not permitted in the splash pads:
- Running, pushing, or shoving
- Climbing, sitting, and playing on splash pad apparatus
- Drinking or spitting splash pad water
- Inflatable pool toys, athletic, and or other recreational equipment
- Food or drink
- Glass containers
- Soaps, detergents, and shampoos
Additionally, please observe the following when in the splash pad:
Children must remain in visual contact of supervising parent/guardian
Water shoes required
Children not toilet trained must wear swim diaper
Persons with open lesions or wounds are not permitted on the splash pad
Do not cover fixtures or drains
