Rain Barrels Available For Order and Pick-up June 15th
The Bourne Department of Integrated Solid Waste Management (ISWM) is again partnering with the Great American Rain Barrel Company to offer rain barrels to residents as part of a conservation and sustainability program. Rain barrels are an effective way to collect and save water and help the water districts manage water supplies. Using rain barrels to irrigate a small garden can save hundreds of gallons of water per year and reduce runoff on local roadways. The barrels are offered for $89 for a painted barrel.
