Planning
The Planning Board consists of nine elected members with three-year terms and two appointed alternate members. They are responsible for reviewing commercial projects, subdivisions of land and updating the Zoning Bylaws and Subdivision Regulations. The Board meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of most months at 7:00pm at the Bourne Veteran's Memorial Community Building, 239 Main Street, Buzzards Bay.
Proposed Zoning Bylaw Amendments
The Planning Board will hold a joint meeting with the Zoning Board of Appeals, Bourne Housing Partnership, and Bourne Housing Trust to discuss proposed amendments to the Accessory Dwelling Bylaw section 4120 on February 22, 2024 beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The Planning Board public hearing to discuss Zoning Bylaw amendments will be held on March 6, 2024 beginning at 7: 00p.m.
