Town of Bourne – Request for Proposals

Purchase of Real Property for New Fire & Rescue Substation

The Town of Bourne is seeking price proposals for the purchase of a parcel (or parcels) of land south of the Bourne Bridge for the purposes of constructing a new Bourne Fire & Rescue Substation.  All respondents must be able to comply (and satisfy) the desired qualifications and follow all instructions in preparing RFP responses.  Failure to respond properly may result in the rejection of the proposal(s).

The RFP guidelines may be obtained on or after January 31, 2024 through the Owner’s Project Manager, Pomroy Associates c/o Richard Pomroy, located at 49 Bedford Street, East Bridgewater, MA 02333 Monday through Friday, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., by calling 781-603-2061, or by email request at rpomroy@pomroyassociates.com.

All procedures related to this process are in accordance with Massachusetts GL C. 30B, as it relates to Real Property Transactions.

 Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope and must be labeled on the outside as: “Proposal for Property Purchase – Bourne Fire & Rescue Substation Project”, and must list the date and time of the proposal opening and be sent or delivered to:

Complete proposal packages must be received at the above address no later than:

Date:               March 1, 2024

Time:               11:00 am. Eastern Standard Time

Opening:        Immediately following the 11:00am deadline

All proposals received after the stated opening date and time will be judged to be unacceptable and will be returned unopened to the sender. Facsimile of proposals is NOT permitted. The Town of Bourne reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is deemed in the best interest of the Town.
