Add your phone numbers to New CodeRED Notification System

As of August 2014 the Town of Bourne will have the CodeRED emergency notification system.  This new system replaces the previous GeoCast Web notification system that many of you are familiar with. The CodeRED system will allow the BOH, Emergency Management, Police and Fire to send out emergency notifications to the public and can also be used to notify residents about non-emergency events like road paving, bridge work, and emergency shellfish bed closures.  The system already has about 8,000 phone numbers but the company and the Town will be conducting a media blitz to make people aware of the new system and how phone numbers, cell numbers and email addresses can be entered into the system. CodeRED's secure, customized Community Notification Enrollment page allows residents and businesses to add or update their contact information to ensure they will be included when a message is sent--unlisted numbers, mobile numbers, TDD/TTY requirements, can all be entered.  Click here to add your information to the system:

You may also click here to download the mobile CodeRED app. This will allow you to be aware of any CodeRED alerts no matter where you might travel.
